Alabaster Skin: Beyond the Pale

Fair complexion is one thing but every once in a while you’ll catch a glimpse of those who look like they’ve been chiseled out of perfect white marble. Bodies wrapped in a creamy, translucent casing.

This is Alabaster Skin. It goes beyond the merely pale. It achieves an almost ghostly pallour.

To me, that look is quite simply mesmerizing. Aside from projecting an almost vampiric quality to which I am particularly susceptible, the sheer dramatic effect overwhelms me.

Opalescent skin is at its best and most striking when framed by raven or blood-red hair.

Snow white skin sets off eye colour perfectly. Blue eyes become ice chips. Green eyes transform into emeralds. Brown eyes are melted chocolate. Hazel eyes swirl between green and brown. Milky skin with black eyes… truly black eyes… are enough to make you question your sanity.

I just love it.
